In your home, outdoors or at a gym*, Robin can help you. Weight loss, toning/conditioning, endurance, whatever you desire. It’s the time of resolutions and using a personal trainer is better than a little or never used gym membership. After an initial assessment we’ll agree some targets and work forward to achieving them. Robin will ensure it’s fun! He's a world record holding athlete in a GB team, and can go as hard or soft as you like!

As well as being an an Advanced Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer Robin is a qualified group indoor cycling; circuit; training outdoors & GP exercise referral coach. In addition he is a qualified leader in running fitness and can be your running partner to get you motivated and your times up, provide new exciting routes, or simply to be your partner to give safety and companionship. Robin is based in Sandridge but has easy access to St Albans, Harpenden, Hemel Hempstead, Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City.

Exercise is effective for dealing with depression and mild anxiety and is proven to help with stress management. It will improve your cardiovascular fitness and with improved muscle tone will come an enhanced body shape. The way is to make exercise an enjoyable habit by feathering in the effort. While some will enjoy burning muscles and gasping for air, which can be essential for some competitive sports, exercise needs to be heaven not hell!

There are many variations of exercises which can be performed in differing ways to provide desired outcomes. This is where Robin comes into his own, as he will provide you with a programme tailored to your goals. For example to build endurance is high repetitions of a low weight, and hypertrophy (building muscle) is the reverse. Robin is always researching and reading up on exercise and it's many forms. As an athlete himself he puts his money where his mouth is!

Robin is a people person used to dealing with young and old from all different backgrounds. He can drive you as hard as you like but without resorting to drill sergeant tactics.

Robin is fully insured and first aid qualified.

The usual cost for a 1 to 1 session is £40. *All gym training incurs an extra £10 a session charge.

Please note: currently most morning weekday sessions are taken, so it's afternoons, evenings or weekends.
